Education Program

The Good Samaritan Project of Haiti has two schools. One is located in the main campus in Thozin,-Grand Goaves founded in 1976 currently serving 270+ students every year. The second school which began in 1986 is located in Courtis-city nearby Petit-Goaves now serving 125-150 children. Currently our educational system is until middle school. We however do have a high success rate of our students in completing their final exams to enter High School and beyond.

We have 1 School Principal- Sauveur Louis- A former Student of the GSP School. The First Principal of the school was Windsor Leveille, currently residing in New Jersey. There are eight teachers in main GSP School and five teachers in the second school.
The age graded levels are as follows:

3-4 Pre-K
5- Kindergarten,
6-1st Grade
7-2nd Grade
8- 3rd Grade
9-4th Grade
10-5th Grade
11-6th Grade
12-7th Grade
13-8th Grade

Their goal is to finish with middle school by the time they reach 13 years of age.

Unfortunately, due to the economic situation and the dysfunctional status of the families, a large number of children do not go to school on their regular school age. Some had to wait until they were accepted in the orphanage-foster care to have the privilege of getting their first year of school. We have established special programs to help them graduate from Middle School and start their Secondary or High school a little before they reach 18 years of age. These latter categories of children are more likely to drop off and start a trade school before they finish high school. With your help in sponsoring the continuation of this program, those children will remain in school and successfully complete their educational goals. You will make an investment into their lives that will impact many generations to come. Nondiscriminatory Policy

The Evangelical Primitive Baptist School of Thozin and Courtis, Haiti admits students of any race, color, made available to students at our school and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, and national or ethnic origin in administration of our educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

The Good Samaritan Project still offers the opportunity to those who can and have the desire to sponsor a child or to send donations to provide the education, food, medical, social, spiritual and moral attention that are such urgent needs for both adults and children of Grand-Goaves and Petit Goaves, Haiti. Much prayer and support are needed for the continuation of G.S.P.

God bless you always,
At the Master’s service,

– Jean Enock Deroseney,
